Our Practitioners
Dr. Paul D. Clary, Ill - Owner is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced small animal medicine since 1963, and he has owned and operated the Balboa Pet Hospital since 1966.
Dr. Lea M. Del Rosso - Associate a Bay Area native, is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school she completed an externship in small animal emergency medicine. She has also received advanced training in the care of exotic animals such as small mammals, birds, and reptiles.
Dr. Gina M. Henriksen - Associate, also a Bay Area native, is a graduate of the
Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. While in Colorado, she worked with retired racing greyhounds, rehabilitating them to be family pets. When not at the hospital, she can be found playing with her Australian Shepherd dogs Hap and Fyn.
From time to time our doctors and staff attend continuing education courses in veterinary medicine. This makes it possible to bring new methods to our practice and to the patients we serve.
Our hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.
